We are a multi function venue situated slap, bang in the middle of the Leeds University, once a family run hotel catering for the rich and famous we have been run by a family of a different kind since 2004.
A team of dedicated promoters, impresarios, administrators and managers have built up the almighty reputation of the venue which exists today. Run by pedants and perfectionists we are obsessed with pop culture, food, bars, nightlife and travel. We pride ourselves on being at the cutting edge of trends and are truly independent, there is no big brewery backing the operation here.
With a background steeped in history, the Faversham became a live music venue in 1982 and has since been a major hangout for every culturally significant subculture. From Goth to Punk to Indie to House to New Rave to Techno, we have been at the centre of every major scene, the best acts in the world, past and present have graced their stage.
Catering from breakfast time through to sunrise, we have five rooms, two bars, a beer garden and perfectly situated, south facing terrace. With an extensive daytime restaurant menu make our house the perfect location for a lunchtime snack, after work drink, gig or party till after dawn.
