Sean Holland

Sean Holland has enjoyed a varied and challenging DJ background, which started 14 years ago in the sub tropical climate of Tenerife. With mammoth 12-hour sets ranging from soul and garage through to house Sean quickly developed an individual and involving style of mixing which proved popular with the ever-changing crowds. The Tenerife experience has paid off as you can hear when Sean is on the decks! Fluid mixing and faultless programming are the results and since arriving back in the UK Sean has continued to wow the south west underground scene with his unique blend of house music.
Being a musician as well as having spent many years Dj’ing meant that it was only natural he would start writing dance music too. After two hugely successful releases on Shock Records in the late nineties Sean’s musical tastes changed considerably and his Passion for House Music came to the fore. Having been involved with Headz projects including a remix of Dan Welton’s “touching my Brain” (Adjust records) as well as writing lyrical parts for Headz track Shemnue he started spending a lot of time re learning his craft. The time spent in the studio with Mentors Dave Muirhead (Threesixty) and Lewis Hopkin (Stardelta, Airgap) meant that the Bar was set high! Sean continues to write and produce all types of music and has also written a number of vocals for various projects.
The latest collaboration with good friends Threesixty fuses the big room sound that Sean is known for in his DJ sets with the tight programming and infectious rhythms of Threesixty. The result is KX, a monster tune which has been championed by the lucky few tastemakers who have a copy, including Rob Tissera, Funkagenda, Mark Knight, Sonny Wharton and Dave Seaman. With more projects in the pipeline with Threesixty and a host of projects awaiting the opportunity to be finished it would be fair to say that the years of hard work are about to pay off.
