Bio:

Ian Metty got in touch with underground music around 2000..

Luckily enough he was brought up to the house music scene and he bought his first vinyls very soon after..

He started in a smaller town of Jihlava in Czech republic.

House music was more than popular around that time.

He got together with djs in his town and he fell in love with Djing in the clubs.

In 2002 he set up a promo agency Applepie with his friend dj Johny Organist..

In 2003 already known as a Tech-house dj, Ian Metty made a several bigger parties including parties Deluxe and New Years Eve in Da Mix 2003.

In June 2004 Ian Metty moved to London to discover more and more about the music he loved

He met people from Maktub London, made some parties with them and started to play progressive tech-house.

2005-2007 – Resident at club Public life.

Played for “Don’t stay in”London—Getting more into Electro progressive tech-house and minimal with often trips to Berlin and Prague.

2008 – ongoing – Djing and producing minimal and techno music these days

2008 – ongoing – NYE parties in Berlin – Applepie Recordings every year NYE party in capital of techno—BERLIN!!

Resident at Corbet Place in London with his label showcase party La Fiesta every last Saturday of the month!!

You can see him in London (Shoreditch area), Prague and Berlin…and there is more to come in 2011!
