Gareth Matthews likes to bring you the best in Trance, House and Progressive. His Big Room Sound is always a crowd pleaser. You couldn't pigeon hole this guy because he plays the music he loves and doesn't stick to one genre. Behind the decks he has real energy, stamina and charisma. He has a real stage presence and does not hesitate to use his music to captivate the crowd and draw them in and really play with them and get them worked up on the dance floor!

Gareth's sets could be described as a unique style of DJ'ing. an uplifting sound that fills people with Joy, it gives a sound that you can dance to, laugh to and smile to. He likes to tell a story in his sets. His sound is essentially Trance but he plays influences of House and Progressive. When Gareth is smiling and jumping behind you'll be doing the same on the dancefloor!

Gareth has appeared on the same line ups as some of the biggest international DJ's in the world. Seeing his debut at The Gallery at Ministry of Sound playing alongside the Thrillseekers, Rank 1, Marcus Schossow and John Askew in August 2010. Since then Gareth has played numerous times at The Gallery at the world famous Ministry of Sound in London alongside Markus Schulz, Sander Van Doorn, Andy Moor, Aly & Fila, Eddie Halliwell and Judge Jules to name but a few.

October 2010 saw Gareth's big break playing at Brixton Academy with Above and Beyond for there biggest London Show to date. And more recently a warm up set for Australia's #1 DJ tyD at his own production for Retoxi. April saw Gareth Billed on the same line up as the Worlds #1 DJ Armin Van Buuren at the 02 Brixton Academy once again then the week after he was booked to play The Gallery's 16th Birthday at the world famous Ministry of Sound alongside by hitters Judge Jules from BBC Radio 1 and the legendary Marco V. 2011 will see Gareth headline new Trance brands across the country and his monthly residency at The Gallery at Ministry of Sound London. If that wasn't enough he has been booked to play on a weeks tour of the infamous White Isle Ibiza. 2011 will also see Gareth's debut in a few other countries and as the bookings continue to come in all that we can say is- 2011 is expect to be a huge year for Gareth so be sure to follow his progress as he makes his mark in the Electronic Dance Music Industry.
