DJ Alan Lee

DJ Alan Lee started DJ'ing way back in the late 1990’s; his first major club he played at was the Garage Club in Liverpool's city centre. Alan worked for 14 months there and then was poached by the Zub club formally known as the old 'Buzz club'. Playing along with at the time with the UK’s biggest DJ’s Dave Dunne from Kiss FM (London) Ste McGee (ex State), Stu Allen (key 103), Mark Simon (club 051), and Pez Tellet (Radio City 96.7)

Moving on in 1997 to Club Pure, formally known as the Old Kiss Club, he was resident with Lee Butler. Alan worked with monthly residents including worldwide DJ Rob Tissera, and Tom Waynewright, Alex P plus Jeremy Healy.

Alan then moved on to work with one of Liverpool s finest promoters Davy T (Porn Kings) in May 1998, both enjoyed huge success with the night called the Main event @ the Paradox nightclub. Alan successfully worked on this project for 4 years, by playing in front of 3000 clubbers every month, they made Main Events the northwest’s biggest dance event. On the back of this, Alan then opened his own Music shop in the Liverpool Palace concept called the ‘The Tape Shop’ in Liverpool city centre.

 

Then a year later in 1999 Alan who was still involved with the Huge Club Night called 'Main Events' then went on to work over in Birkenhead with an event called 'Klub-Sexy' at the huge Ritzy Club, this massive event went live each week to over 1 million listeners across the North West of England on 96.7 radio city. Alan, Lee Butler and Pez Tellet headlined the night. By this time, Alan was clearly making himself into one of Liverpool's prized promoters. Alan then became resident DJ @Streets at the start of 2000 where he pulled in over 1000 clubbers on a Tuesday night with Darren Proctor, (KEY 103) as well Luis Hurst and Shaun Tilley from Radio City. Alan locked out Saturdays there for over a year. Then towards the back end of year, 2000 Alan became resident @ Barcelona with a night called "Sex Bomb". Kev Seed and Davy T (Porn Kings) where the other residents on the night. Alan then had control of Fridays, bringing in Dave Seed as his partner creating a night called "Lush" this event was hugely successful for over 9 months.

 

In January 2001 Alan then became resident at Chillies 2 (in Liverpool city centre) he was the man behind the massive campaign, called "Wanted". December 2001 Alan was behind the re-launch of the huge Under 18’s Event, called Swarm. These nights produced lock out crowds and attracted DJ’s such as Lee Butler, Pez Tellet Stu Allen, and many more.

 

Alan then began to take the format from the Swarm event, around the country, starting with 15 dates from November 2003- January 2004, starting in Bolton in March 2002 Alan became resident once a month @ club Arena, with Kev and Dave Seed. Alan has finished his residency at Chillies 1 (Wavertree High Street L’pool) where he was there for 2 years. When becoming a weekly resident @ R.S.V.P in Liverpool city centre Friday nights, with Kev Seed. Alan had a regular 30 minute mix on Juice Fm every Sunday playing "old skool classics" with DJ Anton Powers through the period of (Sept 2003 - May 2004) with listening figures up to 550 000 peak..

Alan is also the man behind lots of Music bands and works with artist from all genres on new projects monthly. Alan has worked with record labels such as: AATW/Sony/BMG/Incentive

 

They have been remixed by the likes of:

Candee Jay , Northstarz , Hypasonic, and many more to name.......

In addition, in turn have been commissioned from the likes of Sony /BMG, All Around The World, BCD Records, Project 4, and many more.

 

During successes, the bands have toured the North and South of England. Alan is currently working on his own project, which is set for a U.K release in 2011!

 

Alan can be seen taking a behind the scenes role in running a business finding up and coming artists for record companies including his own (BigBeatz Records)

 

In 2009-Present Day has now started to help international music companies find young talent to sign working as a A&R Rep

 

Alan also jointly presenting on 7Waves 92.1fm every fortnight from August 2010 to Jan 2011, and DJ'ed at Bounce Attack' from Oct 2010 to March 2011

 

Alan now promotes an Upfront Vocal House & Twisted Electro night called 'We Luv House'

 

Alan can be seen DJing any type of genre, including, Vocal, Dirty House , Electro , Old Skool , Hard-Dance
