Ali Wilson

Ali Wilson is one of the most exciting young artists the UK has to offer, at only 27 he has played all over the globe, for the biggest promotions including Trance Energy & Judgement Sunday and has and produced for some of the top labels in the world – Warner, Armada, High Contrast, Toolroom, Spinnin, Incharge, Flashover and of course his own imprint TEKELEC.

As versatile DJ and Producer, Ali has always defied to conform to the consensus. Finding inspiration from every corner of the musical spectrum, Ali brought a fresh approach to dance music. His sound was unique and technical ability unparalleled, immediately making him stand out as an artist.

The media soon picked up on the hype as Mixmag proclaimed Mr Wilson as one of the ‘TOP 5 young DJ’s to watch WORLDWIDE’ alongside Nic Fanculii and Montana also cementing this recognition by awarding him as a ‘MixMag Future Hero’. Picking up ‘best new producer’ from the UK’s biggest club forum Harderfaster.net and DJMag honouring him as the ‘one to watch’, this was just beginning for the young man who had the belief in his own sound, this has all lead on to Carl Cox naming him one of his ‘producers of 2006’ in the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll & Judge Jules inviting Ali to do a mix on Radio 1 as his ‘Top Tip for 2008’ !

Ali’s production has taken things to another level when media giant Warner asked Ali to remix The ‘BBC Sound of 2009’ award winner ‘Little Boots’ not only once but twice after they were so happy with the first single. From these he’s now been asked to remix the world’s biggest artists such as Tiesto & Bloc Party!

Ali has a string of brand new singles coming, including the anthem to be Pandora, already Tune of the week & voted Future Favourite on Armin’s ASOT show, tried & tested and played numerous weeks in a row by Judge Jules on Radio 1. Ali has also been requested by Armin to remix the 1st single of his new album and has recently completed a collaboration with legend Marco V who has only collaborated with Sander van Doorn before Ali. He also well on his way to releasing his brand new artist album for Incharge which is due summer 2010!!! Watch this space!

On top of his original material hitting huge heights his selection of bootlegs that he has produced over the years namely Coldplay’s ‘Fix You’ which was supported by Carl Cox for over a year along side every other big name, and his giant remix of Kings of Leon’s ‘Use somebody’ that smashed 2009!
