What To Wear When Going Clubbing

Clubbing has become a regular past time of many young professionals. They come to clubs to socialize, meet new people and of course, to have fun. Regular clubbers already know what to wear. But about first timers? How will you know if the outfit you have on is too much or just right?

Here are a few tips on what to wear when going clubbing.

Black is always in

No matter what season or day of the month it is, black will always be a staple color when it comes to club wear. The color just goes with the surroundings. The good thing about black is that it is a very flattering color. It looks good on just about anyone -especially those who are trying to hide a few pounds. So in case you are not sure what to wear, go for something in black.

Leggings

This is another club wear staple. Leggings can make you look taller, sleeker and sexier. They are the perfect add on to a really short skirt or long blouse. Leggings can make a slutty outfit look more respectable. Plus if you are the type of person who loves to dance away with wild abandon then at least you know, that with a pair of leggings on, you won’t be showing off too much skin to the rest of the world.

Is it sexy or slutty?

The danger with club outfits is that there is a very fine line between sexy and slutty. You would want to keep your look sexy without coming off as a porn star. So how can you achieve this? The key here is balance. Don’t show off too much skin. Leave some parts to the imagination. For instance if you are wearing a short skirt then pair it with a top that doesn’t bare too much. Or if you are wearing a sexy tube then you can pair it up with black jeans.

Accessorise

An outfit won’t be complete without accessories. A simple black sheath dress will look stunning if complemented with the right accessories. A simple technique to follow is to not have more than eight accessories. Because if you have more than that it will start looking like you are wearing too much.

Make-up

That's right. Make-up is also something that you are supposed to wear. Otherwise you risk looking washed out from all the bright lights inside the club. When putting on make-up make sure that it is a bit thicker that your day make-up. It is dark inside clubs and if your make-up is too light then it will seem like you dont have anything on at all.

Choosing the right outfit is not rocket science. Just remember these tips and make sure that you look damn hot in whatever you decide on.
