| Title | Tech Funk Depot |

Noticing a lack of content regarding the Tech Funk scene on Facebook the Tech – Funk Depot was started by DJ, Producer and Promoter Russ Taylor a.k.a. Racine as a forum where people could get to know each other in the scene, share tracks, mix's etc. It grew so rapidly that he soon decided to send out mailers once a month direct to all members with an update on what’s happening, new tunes and upcoming events. Since his first mailer early in 2010, the Tech-Funk Depot has become a hub for people from all over the world sharing the latest news and releases on underground House, Techno and Breakbeat. More than that it has become a staple update for many busy scenesters and punters alike covering everything from new releases, bootlegs, artist, label and venue news to mixes from up and comers all the way through to the bigger players. Growing each month The Tech-Funk Depot has helped artist’s with extra exposure and at the same time given fans of the sound more music to indulge in.
After quite a few years promoting events all over the UK, it was only a matter of time before Russ started planning events with the Tech-Funk Depot brand. It was launched at drop beats not bombs 2010 in Birmingham. Since that point the brand has grown and is now about to launch a regular event in London and Birmingham in spring/summer this year.......watch this space for details!!!
The Tech-Funk Depot is now taking shape as a collective with core members assisting Russ around the UK and beyond especially in Australia and Canada. 2011 will see the Tech-Funk Depot expand its operations with early plans in place to start an online radio station which has had a massive response from around the world and hopefully a number of new faces bringing the latest news and reviews from their respective corners of the globe.
It’s going to be a busy year....

Being committed to only the best upfront music Russ decided that he wanted to experiment with different styles and so playing now mainly under his own name – Russ Taylor - he is breaking away from genre boundaries, exploring the Techy side of things from House, Techno and of course Breakbeat. Not abandoning his Breaks fans he will be continuing to DJ & produce under the guise of Rcaine,
A man on a mission and winner of the DJ Mag and Pioneer DJ competition in 2006 to which he has added many hours of service to the dance community with his events and DJ slots all over the UK. Underbeat Trust
Breaking in to the club scene in London in late 2007, February 2008 saw Spencer Zeh at the time known as Banksmann join forces with Jaymin Doe and Nick 'Mids' Chapman (together known as Salon Kitty) to form Dim Sum. Their rocking 'House Party' style parties soon attracted a lot of interest. Their early parties in Shoreditch set the tone for what was to come and have shaped Spencer’s development from his early love of all things Break Beat to become the multi-talented DJ that he is today. Stretching his music styles now to encompass House, Tech and Breaks, he draws on his background influences including Jazz, Indie, Industrial, Drum and Bass and Tech Funk as he focus’ on delivering funky energetic music with a solid edge direct to the Dance floor.
Blurring the lines between genres and with a passion for finding and playing music that gets people moving, he strives to inject excitement into the events he plays at. Throughout '08- ’10 alongside his Dim Sum duties, Spencer played guest slots at a number of club nights including 'The Gallery', 'Platform 12', 'Get Loaded in the Dark', ‘Beatsuite’, 'Spinout Records', ‘Menu Music Boat Party’ and ‘Crooked’. The end of 2010 saw the remaining members of Dim Sum UK decide to pursue different projects with Spence changing his artist alias to Underbeat Trust and joining Russ Taylor bringing his already successful Tech Funk Depot Parties to London.
