Whilst Sharm might not be Ibiza when it comes to clubbing, it’s still got plenty to offer in terms of loud, lively nightlife and venues where you can dance the night away to your heart’s content.  You might start out your night in a traditional café, smoking shisha and drinking coffee, or you might start at one of the resort’s many international pubs and bars, but when the desire for a dance floor overtakes you, it’s to one of Sharm’s many clubbing hot spots that you’ll find yourself heading.  So what kind of places are recommended for clubbing in Sharm El Sheikh?

Pacha – probably one of the most recognizable names on the clubbing scene anywhere in the world, Pacha in Sharm is also one of the most popular destinations for a late night drinking and dancing session in the resort.  The club is large and glamorous and there are a range of well known DJs and nights on offer, as well as the obligatory Pacha dancers and a wide variety of drinks.  The open air club has VIP tables with their own security guards if you want to guarantee yourself some privacy (http://www.pachasharm.com).

Toda Joia – a relatively new addition to the clubbing scene at Sharm, Toda Joia is a lounge bar and club that offers a night on the tiles in some serious style.  The club has a state of the art light and sound system, a range of nights and Djs and some seriously enticing cocktails (http://www.todajoiaclub.com).

Little Buddha – another foreign export, the Little Buddha in Sharm is a distant relative of the highly glamorous Buddha Bar in Paris, bringing just a bit of French je ne sais quoi to this part of the world.  The Little Buddha goes for an exotic Asian vibe, with an onsite sushi restaurant, bar and club that has proven very popular with the tourists who flock to the resort (http://www.littlebuddha-sharm.com).

Now and Zen – billing itself as a ‘dance bar,’ Now and Zen offers tourists the opportunity to eat light or a full meal, as well as indulging in the fabulous cocktails and then go and dance off all the calories to the venue’s regular DJs.

La Dolce Vita - this club is one of the best on the Sharm scene and regularly hosts huge nights with the kinds of DJs you might expect to see in some of the world’s other great clubbing destinations.  If you’re looking for a big night out this is the place to come as the club is big and draws the crowds.  Obviously, you can expect to pay for the privilege here and you might find it hard to get in if you’re wearing shorts and trainers – dress bling and bring your bling!  (http://www.myspace.com/ladolcevitasharm
